| Proper Attire Milbrook enjoys a reputation for its comfortable, family-oriented environment. At the same time, appropriate dress and behavior are expected of members, their family and guests. Members should be respectful of other members, all of whom are equally entitled to a dignified atmosphere throughout the Club’s facilities, including the patio, the clubhouse and the sports areas. Members are asked to use good taste and judgment in abiding by the Club’s dress code and in their physical appearance while at the Club. The Board of Governors and the Club’s Management have final discretion regarding proper attire. Special requirements or exceptions for special events are made only by written notice to the membership. General Dress Code Guidelines Certain attire is NEVER PERMITTED in the Club (subject to certain stated exceptions), specifically: - Tee shirts (except for children under the age of 12, provided they do not contain inappropriate written words or distasteful graphics. Jeans should not convey the appearance of “work clothes”; rather they should be neat and tidy. Members, their family or guests who violate the dress code in dining areas will not be served and will be asked to leave the dining area. Access to sports facilities will be denied to those who violate the code. Members are responsible for informing family and guests of the Club’s dress code policy. Management and the Board of Governors have the authority to enforce this policy. In the Lakeview Room: Jackets and slacks, or suits, are required for men 16 years of age and older. The exception is Sunday brunch and Friday night dinner when jackets are not required. Ties are not required of men, but they are encouraged during formal evening dining.
